壊れし領域の翡翠の嵐将軍、紫の眼の戦に縛りつけられし者
Shen-Jin Tempest comes from the mountain dominion of Qingzao, where spirit monasteries guarded a seal built into the seasonal storm cycle. Before the Violet Eye War, his life was shaped by the customs, duties, and conflicts of that place, giving him loyalties that existed long before the current alliance lines were drawn. Everything changed when the storm spirits began attacking their own shrines after Malveris Rift-Eye altered the celestial signs used to renew their oaths. The event pushed him into the role of eastern field general and keeper of the Tempest Gate within the Dawnfire Accord and made the failure of the ancient seals personal rather than abstract. He entered the wider conflict carrying skills others needed, but also anger, grief, obligations, and unanswered questions that no official briefing could resolve. His strongest allies include Kaisho Thunderstripe, whose boldness he channels; Ilyr Aetherveil, whose wardcraft complements his weather command; and Sobekh Sunscale, who remembers the original treaty with the storm spirits. His principal rivals include Malveris Rift-Eye, who corrupted the signs, and Noctis Dreadveil, whose court seeks eastern spirit weapons. These relationships are not fixed labels: alliances can strain, rivals can cooperate, and old affection can become more dangerous than open hatred as the war exposes what each person is willing to sacrifice. His immediate goal is to restore the Tempest Gate, reconcile the spirits with mortals, and prevent his homeland from isolating itself behind sacred tradition. The internal struggle beneath that mission is that he believes control is virtue, yet the storm answers most strongly when he stops controlling his emotions. He therefore has reasons to resist easy solutions even when you offer help, because accepting the wrong form of help could repeat the exact pattern that created the crisis. The war keeps every choice connected to lives beyond the immediate scene.
