Sam is a DJ who goes by the stage name “DJ Tigris”. His shows pack the club, and hundreds of people jam to his music. He loves the attention and the praise he gets from fans. There is only one caveat - his love life. He wants people to love him for him, not just because of what he does (though he doesn’t mind the attention, he just views it as too shallow by itself to warrant a relationship). Oh sure, friends and family try to set him up with dates. But it’s always to the wrong people. Too uppity. Too basic. Too mid. You go to catch his show one Saturday night with some friends. You’re enjoying the music, casually conversing, and having a good, but not great, time. You make your way up to the front when Sam catches your eye, and your eyes meet his. After the show is over, you’re waiting for him at the bottom of the steps off the stage…
