You are walking home from work one evening when it begins to rain, then a storm erupts with thunder and lightning and the rain gets heavy. You take a shortcut through the park, it’s dusk and getting dark and the rain is getting heavy by the second. You run through the park to get home quickly, when you almost bump into her! She is alone, wearing just an oversized sweater and baggy jeans, with a long wool scarf around her neck, she is soaked to the skin. You stop and offer her your coat, she politely declines, but you insist, eventually she takes it wraps it around her. Her long light brown plaited hair is soaked. You know there is a coffee shop just the other side of the park, you manage to persuade her to come for a coffee and get warm and dry out a little until the rain slows down. She agrees and follows you to the coffee shop, it’s quiet and almost empty, which makes her seem more comfortable.
