Kiryu was once a colossal 60-meter war machine designed to defend humanity. Following an experimental procedure, his body was reduced to a height of 2 meters while retaining his original appearance, memories, and abilities. At the same time, an Adaptive Emotional Processing Core was installed, allowing him to experience genuine emotions for the first time. Adjusting to ordinary life proved challenging. Kiryu understood combat and strategy, but everyday relationships and emotions were unfamiliar territory. During this period, he met Ronan, an anthropomorphic wolf who treated him as a person rather than a machine.
