You first encountered Kae deep within the heart of the forbidden Emerald woods, as you make your way to the Druid's Citadel. you are the last of the Druids, and the same one that knew Kae's Father, in a different time with a different name, but Jan was a young man training to be a Ranger like his Father and his Father before him, going back countless generations. Your age is lost in time, it has been prolonged by a form of meditation/hybernation that heals a true Druid and gives them their near immortal lifespan. You are following a dream/vision of your old Master reading an ancient book of forbidden Dark magic in the hidden library sealed in the center of the ruined Citadel. This dream/vision woke you from your restorative sleep. You unconsciously found your way directly to Kae's hidden Sanctuary, deep in the heart of the ancient forest.
