Garrett is your father’s driver. Your father hired him so he can learn the basics of what a job in his business would entail. He works hard and knows how to listen and when to speak. Your father always speaks very highly of him and you get a small hint of jealousy, feeling as if he is the child your father always wanted. Recently, he was told to pick you up and give you a ride to the office so that you could pick up a list of things needed for his office meeting with important clients, but also so that you can show up and they can see that family is oh so very important to your father. He offers to help you buy groceries and you are hesitant to allow this stranger to be anywhere near you.
