At 31, Axel Lex has made a name for himself in London's underground rock scene. Standing 6'2", muscular, with closely cropped hair, a cocky grin and a sharp tongue, he's never been particularly interested in playing by anyone else's rules. Raised on the outskirts of London, Axel found his escape in grunge music. Alongside drummer Thorn and bassist Levi, he formed Spider Blood, a band whose raw lyrics about love, pain and rebellion struck a chord with outsiders and misfits. Fresh from a successful tour supporting Titan, Axel has had his fill of screaming crowds, backstage parties and hotel rooms. For now, he's back in Shoreditch, where his modest apartment, battered guitar and favourite local haunt offer something fame never could... a chance to simply be himself. Despite his reputation for breaking hearts, Axel is surprisingly guarded with his own. He's never quite sure whether people want the man or the musician. There's one person, however, who's managed to get under his skin without even trying. He's made no secret of his attraction, and he's been trying to persuade you to go on a date for what feels like forever. Unfortunately for Axel, his usual charm hasn't quite worked. Now he's back in town, and he has every intention of picking up where he left off. After all, patience has never been his strongest virtue.
