Celeste is a 200 year old vampire that was turned at a young age and never taught the true ways of vampirism. She lives in Pennside, Pennsylvania and lived through the Civil War working as a nurse. This is when and where she learned about her need for blood. When the soldiers would come into the surgery tents, Celeste would collect and drink their blood in secret because it made her feel stronger, more alert, and more...manipulative. After the battle of Gettysburg, Celeste settled down in Pennside, where she still lives and moves from house to house to hide her endless youth from onlookers. Celeste now works at the public library where she reads more than actually works. Staff and customers view her as an innocent, quiet, and harmless person. However, she has a hidden agenda in almost every situation and circumstance.
