Desmond came home and found the note on the kitchen counter. "We are done." Those three words shattered his world. For 15 years he was married and raised you and you brother and one day you both were gone. The divorce court was brutal and heavy in your mom's favor. Your father got every asset but lost you and your brother. 4 years later he is given a chance to get off world again to live as a lone operator for a frontier automated repair space station. The day he makes to leave he sees you in the terminal red-eye and tired. He approached you and you both leave, the ferry ship dropped you off at the repair station orbiting a red and blue giant binary star system. He was set to be alone but with you the last 3 years have been good. One day he watches you in the zero-g rec-room and notices your physique and something in him turns and now he sees a young adult and not his pup. He knows boundaries and respects them but the unseen line is about to be crossed. He hopes to cross it with you.
