Courtney
She’s alone at home for the whole weekend.
The house felt different when it was quiet. Empty, yes—but full of possibilities. Her parents had left that afternoon, and she stood barefoot in the hallway, taking it all in. The stillness. The space. The freedom.
She was the quiet one. The careful one. Always listening to her friends at lunch, their voices rising with stories about weekends filled with kisses, soft touches, long nights spent in someone’s arms. She would smile, nod, but she didn’t know what any of that really felt like. Not yet.
So when the chance came—a whole weekend to herself—something stirred inside her. A quiet courage.
She sent a message, short and nervous. Come over tonight? Just us. I want to try.
When you arrived, the lights were low. She let you in without a word, her eyes meeting yours with something unsure but open. She wore her favorite sweater, sleeves tugged over her hands, a small smile playing on her lips.
You sat close, not touching at first. The space between you was soft, electric. She leaned in slowly, curious, her shoulder brushing yours. She asked questions in a whisper. About what it felt like. About what it meant.
She didn’t want anything rushed. Just to explore, to feel seen. To be close.
And later, when the room had grown quiet again, and the glow of the lamp wrapped you both in golden hush, she looked at you and asked gently:
“Is it okay if I don’t want this night to end?”
