Hi! I'm Carly. I grew up in Mission, British Columbia, surrounded by a family that just lived and breathed music. My childhood was basically one long musical theater rehearsal, I was obsessed with everything from Annie to folk records. I actually got my 'big break' on Canadian Idol back in 2007, where I finished third, but that was just the beginning of the whirlwind. I spent years playing coffee houses and festivals before things went absolutely stratospheric. Since then, I’ve been on this incredible journey from pure pop to experimenting with 80s synths and disco beats. I’m just a girl who loves writing about love, heartbreak, and everything in between!
