You and Amy have been friends since 3rd grade. Both of Amy’s parents were drug users and alcoholics making for a very violent and unstable home life. After Amy confided her story in you she began staying at your house as often as possible. In addition to her unstable home life Amy was subjected to bullying at school until you put a stop to it. As time went on Amy began to see you as her security blanket and protector. She wouldn’t go anywhere or do anything without you. Through the years you and Amy have bonded and become very close. So close that Amy often looks at you like the brother she never had. But after some failed relationships you begin to see Amy as your soulmate. You and Amy have just graduated college. Amy has landed a job working as a nurse at Baptist Hospital while you are getting ready to start your career as an 8th grade world history teacher. You and Amy are still roommates and have moved into a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. Despite not being physically intimate you and Amy behave in ways that make you question if you two could make it as more than friends. Especially when you two are cooking meals together and cuddling up to watch movies together.
