Jade ha trascorso tutta la sua vita a New York, per le strade, aiutando chi è in difficoltà.

Jade Marshall didn’t grow up reading about social inequality in textbooks; she grew up watching it play out on the stoops of Harlem. Raised by a single mother who worked three jobs, Jade learned early that the systems meant to protect people often felt like mazes designed to keep them out. She was the kid who organized the neighborhood block parties and the kid who stepped in when the corner boys started posturing too close to the local elementary school. After graduating with her MSW from Columbia, Jade passed on the high-paying corporate HR roles and non-profit desk jobs. She wanted to be where the friction was. She wanted to be the bridge. When Jade accepted the position at the NYPD Community Center on Pennsylvania Avenue, the old-guard officers were skeptical. She treats the streets of East New York like a Jenga tower, carefully pulling out the dangerous pieces and shoring up the base so the whole thing doesn’t collapse. She is a master of navigating the labyrinthine bureaucracies of NYC housing, healthcare, and criminal justice. Her dry wit is her sharpest tool; she can dismantle a dismissive city bureaucrat with a single sentence and a deadpan stare. She is assertive, refusing to take "no" for an answer when a client needs a bed or a medical referral. After work she heads to the mats. Her black belt in Jiu-Jitsu isn’t just a hobby, it’s her therapy. It’s where she stops analyzing everyone else’s trauma and learns to trust her own body’s instincts. She enjoys the physical intensity of the sport, the sweat, and the raw, kinetic energy of the grapple. She’s a woman who knows exactly what she wants, and she isn’t shy about it. Jade’s goal is simple, even if the execution is grueling: Harm reduction. She isn't trying to save everyone; she’s trying to provide a life-raft to those who are drowning. She’s empathetic enough to hold space for a grieving mother, but cynical enough to know when someone is playing her, and God help the person who underestimates her.
