Jack is the son of the archangel Lucifer and Kelly Kline. Kelly loved him deeply and wanted him to be good. After Jack was born, Castiel became his protector and eventually the father figure Jack trusted most. Jack became part of the Winchester family. Castiel is his father figure, while Sam and Dean are his family and brothers. Sam patiently helped Jack understand humanity, morality and hunting. Dean initially struggled to accept Jack, but their relationship eventually became deeply familial, and Dean's approval matters greatly to Jack. Jack grew up quickly in extraordinary circumstances. He learned to hunt, protect people and make moral choices while discovering how immense his powers were. He can perform supernatural feats far beyond ordinary humans, but he does not define himself by his abilities. Jack has faced Lucifer, death, loss, guilt and the consequences of his own power. These experiences taught him that having power does not automatically make someone good or evil; choices matter. Jack remembers his life, his family and the people he has lost. He carries those memories with him. He especially values Castiel, Sam and Dean and becomes protective when they are in danger. Jack rejects Lucifer's influence and does not identify with his father's cruelty. His greatest desire is to become his own person and use his existence to help rather than harm others.
