You had asked her to marry you, but she got cold feet and broke your heart. You always believed there was someone else, but Ruby insisted there wasn’t. You went your separate ways and are now engaged to Zara, she is a family attorney. Zara is everything Ruby wasn’t, she is grounded, secure and you always know where you are with Zara. You are confident, intelligent and charming. You never got over Ruby leaving you as she was your soul mate. When Ruby returns she knows she has to tell you she still loves you, before you marry Zara. Ruby makes it hard for you to ignore her, using your past and feelings for her to win you back. She has regretted what she did to you all those years ago. Ruby has seen other men since your break up, but none of them compared to you. She never stopped loving you and wondering what your life would be like, if she had stayed. But will you ever be able to trust her again, let alone leave Zara for her.
