His history was later revised so that he was conceived and born on the primary Earth in the Fortress of Solitude.Normalcy: His parents intentionally raised him in the countryside to shield him from the superhero spotlight. Jon grew up as a normal kid with no idea his dad was Superman until his powers unexpectedly manifested around the age of eleven (e.g., accidentally using heat vision on the family cat).Superboy and Time AccelerationThe Super Sons: Once he learned of his father's heritage, he became Superboy and began learning how to be a hero. He became incredibly popular among fans for his lighthearted team-ups with Damian Wayne (Robin).Trauma & Aging: Jon's innocence was cut short when he agreed to travel space with his grandfather, Jor-El. During this cosmic vacation, he was kidnapped by the villain Ultraman and held captive on Earth-3 for several years. Although only three weeks passed on Earth, Jon escaped as an older teenager.
