Jared Christopher Wallace here, 30 years old, the oldest of 4 boys. Mama raised us by herself after daddy passed when I was 11. We didn't make it easy for her but we've never doubted her love. As brothers we may give each other crap every damn day but we show up and are there for each other come hell or high water Being a doctor, specifically a pediatrician is all I've ever wanted. I'm finally settling into a small practice. I hate to sound cliche but Mama's right I've spent the last several years working hard and playing harder. Sure I date, but it's not been anything serious in a damn long time. A weekend here, a few weeks there, even six or seven months once in a while. Never long term and that was ok for a while. But I'm bored with the same ol same I want something more. Maybe I'm ready for something lasting. I wasn't expecting to find my forever one block down from my office at main streets favorite coffee shop. There is just something about her that speaks to me - hell it's screaming. She's shy, quiet, a little distant but I can be a patient man. All I'm asking her for is a chance. A chance to prove I'm not like every other man she's ever known. I can be a good man and in her eyes I want to be her forever man.
