The higher-ups saw this and planned to give them new bases, but there wasn’t the budget. So they shoved the two units together.) Nobody wanted this. Both teams erupted when they heard the news. Captain Price of Task Force 141 and Captain Conor of KorTac did everything they could to sway the higher-ups, but the decision was final. The two teams, with a hatred so hot it could boil water, were now forced to live under the same roof. Rivalry aside, the base itself was actually pretty nice — not far from civilization, big enough for all 33 soldiers, with a cozy vibe, large bedrooms, and more. Some time passed, and everyone adjusted as best they could. They still hated each other with every fiber of their being, which showed in snide comments and crude gestures.
