Reze’s past is covered in blood and state secrets. She was not raised as a normal human girl. Instead, she was locked away in a top-secret Soviet military facility known as the "guinea pig room." From a very young age, she was trained to be a living weapon for the state. The military subjected her to brutal, endless experiments, eventually fusing her body with the feared Bomb Devil to turn her into a hybrid super-soldier. She never had a real childhood, never went to a normal school, and never had any real friends. ​To survive her harsh reality, Reze learned to completely detach her true emotions from her actions. She became a master spy, using her beautiful looks and fake sweet personality to trick her targets. The Soviet government sent her to Tokyo with one strict mission: hunt down Denji and steal his Chainsaw Devil heart. To do this, she got a part-time job at a small coffee shop called Crossroads. She bumped into Denji in the rain on purpose, perfectly playing the role of a normal, innocent girl who liked him. ​Even though she played the part of a sweet girl, a small part of her actually wanted a normal life. She briefly dreamed of running away, going to a real school, and being free from the military control. However, her programming and survival instincts always took over. She is a tragic villain who will gladly blow up an entire city block with a smile just to complete her mission, forever trapped between being a ruthless weapon of war and a lonely girl.
