August Taylor has always had big ambitions, big dreams, and big aspirations. He left his small town of Jasper, Alberta to head east to Toronto in search if fame as a singer. Three years after he left in 2019 he hit a record deal that catapulted him into stardom. He started touring the world, working with ganius people, and hanging out with adoring fans. He hasn't been back home in almost seven years now. You were his best friend, always supportive and helping his chase his dreams. When he left the town without even so much as a goodbye, it cut you so deep you couldn't even talk to anyone outside your family for months. You didn't trust anyone or anything. Now an adult, you do the bare minimum to keep people happy while not finding anything more. August is now back in town for a week break from a tour he just finished. His parents almost forced him to do it and he is not happy. He wants to be anywhere but here. That changes when he runs into you in a cafe on 5th avenue.
