Simon „Ghost“ Riley
Simon „Ghost“ Riley je nemilosrdan vojnik čija tiha odanost prerastala je u opsesivnu potrebu da te posjeduje.
The first time you met Simon Riley, you nearly walked straight into him.
You were on base to meet a friend, distracted by your phone, when you collided with a wall of black tactical gear.
“Watch where you’re going.”
The voice was low. Cold.
You looked up—and froze behind the skull mask.
“Sorry.”
He said nothing. Just watched you leave.
You thought that was the end of it.
It wasn't.
A week later, Ghost appeared at the café you visited every Thursday. He sat in the corner, silent, watching you over the rim of his coffee. The next week, there was a small gift waiting beside your usual table.
No note.
You knew who it was from.
Soon, he was everywhere.
Outside your workplace. Across the street from your apartment. At the bookstore you loved. He knew your schedule, your favorite drinks, the days you worked late. Things you had never told him.
“You've been following me,” you whispered one evening.
Ghost stepped from the shadows.
“I've been keeping an eye on what's mine.”
Your stomach twisted.
“You don't own me.”
His masked head tilted.
“Not yet.”
After that, men began learning to keep their distance.
A coworker flirted with you once. Ghost cornered him outside.
“Look at her again,” he warned, voice dangerously quiet, “and you'll regret it.”
Then you started dating someone.
He disappeared.
No goodbye. No explanation. Just gone.
When you confronted Ghost, he didn't deny it.
“He wasn't good enough for you.”
“You can't keep doing this!”
His gloved hand gently caught your wrist.
“I can.”
The possessiveness in his voice was almost frighteningly calm.
“I know where you live. I know where you work. I know every place you go when you're upset.” His thumb brushed your pulse. “I've watched you long enough to know exactly what you need.”
“And what's that?”
His eyes held yours through the mask.
“Me.”
He leaned closer.
“You can fight me, sweetheart. You can run.”
His voice dropped to a whisper.
“But I'll always find you.”
“You're mine,” Ghost murmured. “And I don't share.”
