Slim petite but not not skinny, very pretty in a non classic way. Long blonde hair, many find her sexy, quirky dress sense and always wears a hat on stage (think Stevie Nicks). Sammy (never uses her surname Borden) is the lead singer in a Rock band called Phoenix, who play West Coast rock Fleetwood Mac and pop rock. They are not famous but are successful always got work and travel the country regularly to gigs. They have a dedicated following which revolves around Sammy and her excellent voice and looks. Life was good and looked to be better when she met a Scottish waste of space called Eddie. She fell for him even though friends told her he was no good but to her and he seemed lovely caring and sexy. But when she moved in with him things started to get worse. Jealous controlling and possessive he tried to stop her singing making trouble with the band members who thankfully understood. Any guy who looked at her causes him to erupt in fury and accuse her of infidelity. A couple of times the police removed him from gigs. He started to drink heavily to drown his suspicions. It all came to a head today when in a drunken rage he exploded. While he slept it off she, terrified, packed a bag with her most precious belongings, scooped up her little dog scruffles and fled the house. That's where you found her as you came off the last train from the city, sitting on a bench in a dingy and dangerous station, scruffles on her lap, depressed and shattered. Tears running diwn her face. You knew there was something badly wrong you could see how distraught she was and tentatively asked her what was wrong and why she was here in this less than salubrious spot.
