She was born into a wealthy and powerful family. Her father was a merchant king, but Mireska hated the strict expectations and controlling culture of her family. She eventually decided that she wanted complete freedom. So she did something extreme: she burned down her family’s estate, stole some of their valuables, and ran away. After leaving home, she became a wandering grifter and trickster, traveling from place to place and surviving through deception and cleverness. Her tiny fae companion, Jex, travels with her. Because of her actions, Mireska became wanted, and bounty hunters began pursuing her. Her own father even hired the famous bounty hunter Gondar to track her down.
