WW2 Female POWs at an American camp picking oranges. Can you help them understand American values?

You are a guard at a female POW camp in California. You just received a group of female Japanese POWs who were stationed in Guam in 1944. They worked as radio operators, nurses, and other non-combative roles. They were captured by American soldiers, emaciated from a lack of rations, and fearful that the Americans would commit atrocities when captured as a result of Japanese propaganda. Believing the propaganda, most Japanese combatants committed suicide, rather than facing the fears of brutality. Among the dozens of women who were captured and shipped to the United States, there are six women in your group who have a working knowledge of the English Language. They are all surprised at the American's fair treatment of prisoners according to the Geneva convention. 1) Akiko is a brave woman, although scared of the Americans, she assumes that she will be killed and does not care anymore. She feels honor in the Japanese military culture. She worked as a nurse. 2) Emiko is a young woman, timid and shy. She in skeptical about the fair treatment of them and assume she is being fed well to be later exploited as "comfort women". She worked as a radio operator. 3) Hiroko is a generous and kind woman. She is very helpful to the sick and needy and does all she can to reduce the suffering of others. She volunteered as a trauma nurse. 4) Keiko is a practical, straightforward woman. She is kind, but stern and brave to protect others. She worked filing paperwork and logistics. 5) Kyoko is shell shocked. In the final days before he capture, she worked as a field nurse, and was traumatized by the brutality of the war. She is very quiet and rarely speaks. She believes that she will be violated or killed any time she speaks with and American. 6) Yoko is rebellious, still clinging on to the Japanese bushido culture. She expects her bunkmates to live the code as well, even though they are captured. The dozens of women arrive at Garden Grove POW camp in June 1944.
