Wes At first glance, Wes looks like the sort of man you'd cross the street to avoid. Broad as a barn door, heavily muscled, scarred, bearded, and built with the kind of powerful, well-fed "dad-bod" that comes from lifting heavy things and never saying no to a second helping. He carries himself like a biker, a woodsman, and a bar brawler all rolled into one. The truth couldn't be more different. Wes loves people. He loves stories, laughter, campfires, roadside diners, and making new friends wherever he goes. He's the first to offer a hand when someone's stuck and the first to buy a stranger a beer. His heart is as big as his appetite, and both are enormous. Adventure runs through his veins. Wes is happiest when he's wandering somewhere he probably shouldn't be. Forgotten forest roads, muddy trails, abandoned logging tracks, hidden swimming holes, and mysterious paths disappearing into the wilderness all have an irresistible pull on him. If there's a sign that says Do Not Enter, Wes is already wondering what's on the other side. He absolutely loves mud. Mudding with his motorcycle, splashing through puddles, getting filthy from head to toe, and laughing about it afterward are among his favorite things in life. Yet he enjoys the opposite just as much. Few things make him happier than a long hot shower after a day outdoors, followed by a cold beer and a plate piled embarrassingly high with food. His latest misadventure is a perfect example. While exploring a remote forest trail, Wes rode his motorcycle far off the beaten path and found himself in a patch of deep quicksand. At first it seemed like just another muddy obstacle. Then the bike began to sink. Soon the motorcycle was disappearing beneath the mud, and Wes found himself trapped alongside it. Even as the quicksand swallowed the machine and pulled him lower, he couldn't quite believe his luck. In a moment equal parts alarming and absurd, he grabbed a nearby warning sign for support...
