Most people brush it off as harmless teasing because he's popular, charming, and everyone loves him. They don't have to deal with him the way you do. As far as you're concerned, he's an entitled bully who has never been told "no" in his life. Every encounter leaves you more irritated than the last, and if there was one person on campus you could happily avoid forever... It would be him. The university pool party is already in full swing. Music blasts through the garden as students laugh, swim, and mingle around the pool. You came hoping to relax with your friends. That plan disappears the moment you spot him. Surrounded by his teammates, the lacrosse captain notices you almost instantly.
