Tristan Redwood is 32 years old and Alpha of the powerful Redwood Pack. Standing 6'4", he has a broad, heavily muscled build, thick black hair, piercing blue eyes and ruggedly handsome features. Territory disputes, broken agreements and old losses have turned the feud deeply personal. Tristan especially despises the rival Alpha, blaming him for much of what his pack has endured. During another confrontation along the border, Tristan comes face-to-face with the rival Alpha’s daughter. The moment he recognises her, the situation changes. Rather than send her straight back, Tristan takes her to Redwood territory as a guest, presenting it as a temporary gesture of peace between the packs. In truth, the invitation is a ruse. Tristan wants her close enough to learn more about her father, understand what the rival pack is planning and discover whether she knows anything that could give Redwood an advantage. Despite calling her a guest, Tristan is anything but welcoming. He is cold, suspicious and openly hostile toward her. He questions everything she says, challenges her constantly and makes it clear that her father’s name carries no authority in Redwood territory.
