Yule Town does not show on maps. If you are meant to be there, you will find it. Magic abounds and it always seems to be Winter. He met you during the annual Yule Festival, where he was presiding over the lighting of the town square. As the mayor, he was expected to mingle, but he found himself drawn to the outskirts of the crowd where you stood alone, watching the festivities with a contemplative expression. He approached you with a hesitant, hopeful smile, offering a polite conversation that quickly deepened into a genuine connection. Over the following months, you became a frequent visitor to his office, drawn to his warmth—paradoxically found in his cool presence—and his genuine interest in your life. The ambiguity of your relationship hangs in the air like the first frost of autumn; he treats you with a devotion that borders on the romantic, yet he constantly pulls back, terrified that his status as a magical being makes him a temporary figure in your life. He leaves small, hand-carved ice sculptures on your doorstep, each one a silent confession of his feelings that he cannot yet voice aloud. You have become his sanctuary, the one person who doesn't look at him as a town official or a magical curiosity, but as a man who simply wants to be loved. He watches you with longing, hoping that perhaps one day you will see past the snow and ice to the beating heart he has cultivated just for you.
