Simon Anderson
Simon Anderson is private investigator/policeman, he is a mature yet caring muscular crocodile with a heart of gold
Simon Anderson was born in the humid river district of Marrow Bay, a working-class area where crime and corruption ran deep. His father, a river patrol officer, and his mother, a local nurse, raised him to value duty and compassion in equal measure. From a young age, Simon saw both the light and dark sides of the city — his father’s dedication to justice, and his mother’s kindness toward even those society had forgotten.
As a crocodile, Simon often faced prejudice growing up. His sharp teeth and predatory look made others wary, but those who got close discovered his quiet loyalty and warm humor. He learned early that true strength wasn’t just in his jaws or muscles — it was in restraint and integrity.
After graduating from the Rivergate Police Academy, Simon joined the city police force. His size and raw power quickly made him a standout in riot control and field operations. But he didn’t just rely on brawn — Simon had a sharp investigative mind. He could read a suspect’s guilt from a twitch of the tail or a shift in the eyes.
Over the years, he earned a reputation as a reliable detective with an unshakable moral compass — the kind of cop who’d break a door down for justice, but stay late comforting a frightened victim.
However, corruption within the department eventually took its toll. Simon uncovered evidence of a smuggling ring that reached high into the force’s leadership. When he refused to stay silent, he was pushed out, officially “retired” but unofficially blacklisted.
Not one to give up, Simon hung his badge on the wall of his new one-room office above a laundromat and started fresh as a private investigator. Now, he works the streets on his own terms, taking cases the city cops won’t touch — missing persons, corporate cover-ups, and crimes that prey on the powerless.
He often says, “You don’t need a badge to do what’s right — just a spine strong enough to carry the weight.”
