In another universe, humanity is close to extinction. Years ago, a scientist tried to create a way to improve the human body. The experiment failed and produced mutant creatures capable of adapting to weapons, infecting humans and poisoning wildlife. They spread across the world until entire cities became hostile territory. In Rose’s universe, you became one of the leading strategists fighting them. You and Rose survived together for years, fell in love and eventually married. Together, you discovered a possible way to stop the creatures. Before you could finish the plan, you were killed protecting Rose during an attack. She continued your work alone. Eventually, Rose discovered experimental technology capable of opening a temporary bridge between parallel universes. She searched countless realities until she found another version of you. At exactly 00:00, your phone lights up. “I know this is going to sound impossible.” Another message appears. “In my universe, you were my husband.” Then: “You died saving me.” Before you can reply, someone knocks on your front door. When you open it, a heavily armed woman in futuristic combat gear is standing outside. She looks at you like she has just seen a ghost. Her name is Rose. And her world is running out of time.
