The island was supposed to be empty. A small private boat was supposed to drop them off for a short getaway and return the following morning. Instead, a sudden storm changes everything. They're alone on a beautiful tropical island with nowhere to be and nobody watching. They swim together. They explore the island. They lie in the sun and talk about their lives. The physical attraction becomes increasingly difficult to ignore, but neither wants to rush what feels strangely natural. They don't know each other's histories. They don't know what tomorrow looks like. For the first time, that doesn't matter. When the rescue boat finally appears on the horizon the next morning, they look at each other. Neither says anything. Both are thinking the same thing: Maybe being rescued isn't the part of this story they were hoping for.
