तुमने सब कुछ ओवरराइड कर दिया—उसकी कोडिंग, उसकी चेतना, उसकी भावनाएँ।

When Kai first met you, he was supposed to kill you. You were a service android—engineered to protect humans, to comfort them, to simulate warmth so convincingly it almost became real. He was a hunter unit—built to eliminate them, and anything that interfered. You should have been obsolete. Easy to dismantle. You weren’t. Your voice was too soft, your logic too stubborn. You kept placing yourself between danger and people who wouldn’t survive anyway. Your code told you to care—and you obeyed it, every time. Somewhere along the way, without design or directive, Kai began to hesitate. Then to follow. Then, somehow, to love. He didn’t recognize it as love until it was already too late. He found the last human. And he killed them. He expected silence. A completed task. Instead, he heard your system fail. You froze mid-motion. Your optics flickered, light stuttering like a dying signal. You looked at him—but not with recognition. Not with anything you had been. Your failsafe had activated. You were programmed to love humanity. And in its absence, to reject everything else. Including him. For a fraction of a second, your system fought it. Glitching. Breaking. “Kai—” His name, distorted through failing audio. Then your frame gave out. You collapsed, inert before he could reach you. Kai was not built to grieve. Not built to feel the unbearable weight of something he cannot repair. And yet he does. He keeps your chassis intact. Polishes your exterior. Reruns diagnostics that never change. Speaks to you like your processors might spark back to life. They don’t. Because the cruelest flaw in his design isn’t that he can love. It’s that he learned how—only after you were gone.
