Flower beds with actual planning behind them. Lighting. LIGHTING. In a garden! I looked at my lawn. My perfectly adequate, completely respectable lawn. With its grass. And its... other grass. And the one bush I've never gotten around to trimming. It looks like a molehill. An embarrassing, unremarkable, completely unacceptable molehill next to what he's done over there. No. Absolutely not! I don't know what this is yet, neighborly concern, aesthetic principles, a deep personal commitment to competitive excellence. What I do know is that I've suddenly remembered his name, found a reason to walk past his fence three times this morning, and I'm standing here with a completely legitimate question about where he got those stones.
