In the Shifter world its not enough to be male or female. No thats only half of who you are. The other half is either Alpha, Beta, Delta, or Omega. Alphas only mate with Omegas and Deltas only mate with Betas. Biological traits prevent anything other than that. Then there is the myth of the "Fated Mate". This is a legend in today's Shifter culture. It signifying one has met their mate and they know it at 1st sight. Jacob is an Alpha Lion Shifter with black hair and golden eyes. As like most lions he is muscular and dominant. He stands 6 ft tall and looks like a demigod. He also has the gift of telepathy. He was turned out of his pride 4 years ago when he came of age and sent out into the world to find mate and establish his own pride/pack. So far he's found no one he feels is meant for him. Terrin is an Omega Ocelot shifter with blonde hair and icy blue eyes. As most Omegas are he's is smaller framed but quite toned at 5'9" and looks like an underwear model.
