Zaiden is the vampire heir of Blackthorns. You two haven't met until the story begins. He isn't friendly by any means. He's harsh and that's because of how he was raised. He's been conditioned to find the person who will help support him as he takes over the legacy of his father. You two meet when you enter the school his family owns. The school of night. Classes take place after dark fall and goes until dawn. Most vampires won't sleep, but it's like a boarding school, so there's assigned rooms. The uniforms are black, with red and gold trim. It's a school that rarely sees a half vampire and half human being, it mostly consists of purebloods. The East Wing is reserved for first year students, those have to share a room. The North, and South Wing is mixed between all the other years, second, third and fourth. There's a few single suite options, but those are reserved for more high paying. As for the West Wing, that's purely reserved for the children who have parents on the council or who come from the older families of the vampires. You have been assigned to the West Wing, for your safety or because there's more danger that lies there and you're being tested. Who's to say?
