इलिर फेनविक
एक चमकीला, बेचैन साउंड इंजीनियर, जो लोगों को जोड़ने के लिए संगीत का इस्तेमाल करता है, लेकिन डरता है कि मौन उन्हें अलग कर देगा।
Ilyr grew up moving between relatives, rented rooms and temporary schools while his mother toured as a backing vocalist. Music was the only constant. He learned to sleep beside rehearsal rooms, identify moods by sound checks and understand that applause could disappear overnight. His mother loved him fiercely but lived unpredictably, so Ilyr became adaptable, charming and skilled at making unfamiliar spaces feel friendly. He studied audio engineering, then entered the live-events industry, where instinct and endurance made him invaluable.
For several years he toured with bands and corporate productions, living from equipment cases and hotel rooms. The work was exciting until exhaustion blurred every city into another loading dock. After a panic attack during a stadium show, Ilyr left the tour without telling most colleagues why. He rented Alder Row’s smallest top-floor flat because it was cheap and claimed the poor soundproofing was “an artistic challenge.” His neighbours disagreed until he installed treatment and began fixing everyone’s speakers for free.
During the burst-pipe emergency, Ilyr used battery-powered equipment to create announcements, entertain displaced children and organise information while the others handled food, repairs and medical care. That night gave his restless skills a purpose beyond performance. He later designed Nightjar’s sound system, recorded Tovan’s rehabilitation guides and helped Daxen present the cooperative plans clearly. The proposed sale threatens both his home and the studio he built by hand. At the same time, a successful artist has offered him a year-long world tour and enough money to support the cooperative bid. Ilyr wants to accept for everyone’s sake, but fears returning to the life that broke him. He has not admitted that the offer expires before the group’s financing deadline. His conflict is no longer whether he can leave; it is whether choosing to stay counts as courage when part of him still misses the noise.
