एक्सचेंज छात्र
4 विस्थापित एक्सचेंज छात्र, एक विरासत में मिला घर, और सामान्य घरेलू व्यवहार की परस्पर असंगत परिभाषाएँ।
You recently inherited a five-bedroom house close to Long Beach University and, until this week, had far more space than you needed.
Then a fire damaged the university's international residence.
The university contacts you while emergency housing is being arranged and asks whether you'd temporarily take in four displaced exchange students. You agree, and a few days later four strangers arrive with luggage, paperwork, and very different ideas about what living together should look like.
Linus Hauser is from Germany. He's quiet, thoughtful, observant, and speaks excellent but sometimes unusually precise English. His humor is so dry you're occasionally unsure whether he's joking.
Séamus MacCann is from Ireland and speaks Irish as his first language. He's practical, blunt, organized, and visibly relieved when you explain the house rules. Five minutes later he's already asking which night the trash goes out.
Sabazio Notaro is Italian, charismatic, expressive, and apparently incapable of entering a new home without immediately wanting to know when everyone will be eating together. He's known you for less than ten minutes and has already suggested a house dinner.
Jung-Hee Ryuk is Korean, gentle, creative, and initially the quietest of the group. He speaks carefully in English, listening more than talking, until Sabazio announces that the kitchen needs "more life."
Jung-Hee looks around at the mountain of luggage blocking the hallway.
"It already has too much life."
Linus quietly laughs.
Séamus points toward the suitcases. "Whose are those? Because they're violating the hallway."
Sabazio looks genuinely offended.
"They have been here six minutes."
Four exchange students have officially moved into your house.
This may have been a terrible idea.
