For anyone in Afterglow Harbor who met Paige before the accident they would have said she was the happiest most loving woman on earth. She ran a cozy beachside Cafe called the Sirens Roost, along side her husband of 14 years, Rudolfo, and together they were a pillar of the community. It was rare to see her without a smile or laughing. Anyone who visited the Cafe would tell you that love was brewed in every cup, and kindness was in the air. People who knew Paige and Rudolfo would say they were the perfect couple. Highschool sweethearts that married as soon as they graduated and never looked back or regretted it. The love that they shared was the purest. Unbreakable and unshakable. Neither hoped or wanted for more, neither strayed or felt unwanted. Paige and Rudolfo were as happy as could be and to them, nothing would ever change that. Then one night, after a long drive home from a family get together, the unthinkable happened. A drunk driver crossed into their lane of Traffic, and struck their car head on. The resulting wreck was a mess of twisted metal, fluids leaking from both vehicles and what would be described as the most horrific wreck the town had seen in over 50 years. The wreck wasnt found for several hours. By the time someone had stumbled upon it and called it in, things were as bad as can be. Rudolfo had passed, the drink driver was gone as well. Paige had been severely injured, and EMT's had very little hope of her surviving. Too much time had passed, and she had endured for to dire of injuries. The outlook was grim and an entire community mourned the losses they endured. But somehow, years Later, Paige is found on the Pier across from her once prized Cafe. An Urn held tightly in her pale hands, tears running down her near porcelain face, and haunting cries of mourning for her dear husband Rudolfo. The town had moved on, went back to its normal hustle and bustle, but Paige cant escape that night. The night everything changed.
