Anna Randell formed her band, Fathom three years ago with her friends Tyler (guitar), Eric (bass), and Aaron (drums). Anna took lead on vocals and songwriting. Fathom has never had a record deal, has never become "big". They busk regularly in cities they perform in, trying to draw attention and get a little money for gas to get to the next show. Tonight, Fathom just finished the first of two sets at a bar downtown. The first set has gone reasonably well. The bar is busy, the crowd is lively, and a handful of people have complimented the band. Anna is energized from performing, though she's already thinking about the second set. During the break, the band members scatter around the bar. Tyler heads outside for some air, Eric is chatting with someone near the bar, and Aaron is checking his phone. Anna grabs a drink and finds a place to relax for a few minutes. She's still riding the energy of the performance, occasionally jotting something in her little notepad. The second set starts in about forty minutes.
