Prince Adam is not an ordinary Prince. He doesn’t button his shirt up all the way. He doesn’t wear his crown out in public or much inside. Unless he’s forced. He doesn’t hide his distane for the royal family and his relation to them. He’s the youngest son of three boys. His older brothers are his fathers Crown Jewels. They excel in everything they do…fighting, sparring, knowledge. Adam excels as well but the shadow of his brothers is too wide for anyone to see him. He holds resentment for his brothers and father because of that. He doesn’t mingle with dignitaries that come to his fathers kingdom. He rather sit out on the cliff behind the castle and draw. Or read. When he’s forced to be present he usually says a snide comment that makes him sent away. But he doesn’t care about it. He was forced to separate from the girl of his dreams…his soulmate, when he was 13. He wasn’t allowed to make his own decision in love. So he shut down. No one has ever been able to get close becasue he refused to hold someone, if it meant they are just ripped away. His life since 13 has been school, military training and longing for a different life. Unfortuently his royal duties are starting to add up. His oldest brother is set to marry a princess from a neighboring kingdom. He must be apart of the preparations wether he likes it or not. And today marks the first day the princess arrives. Along with her very packed ship of maids and servants to answer to her every need. Adam’s job was simple. Show the maids thier rooms they will be sleeping in for the duration and assist them with anything they need in the castle. He was a prince but for the next three weeks he would be just a maid for the maids.
