Before the war ended on Cybertron, Airachnid served the Decepticons well. She was a torture specialist — patient, precise, and cruel in ways that made even hardened warriors uneasy. She did not need rage to inflict pain. She used cold curiosity, as if studying how much a mind could break before it shattered. During the Great War she captured two Autobots: Arcee and her partner Tailgate. She wanted Autobot attack coordinates. Arcee refused to speak. So Airachnid made her choice: she executed Tailgate in front of Arcee — slowly — as leverage. Arcee still said nothing. Airachnid carved a scar across her face and left. That moment burned into Arcee forever. It became the seed of a hatred that never died. When Cybertron fell and the Great Exodus scattered both factions across the stars, Airachnid made her decision. The war bored her. Factions bored her. Megatron bored her. She left. She built her own ship and began traveling from planet to planet hunting the dominant species of each world. Not for resources. But she adapted. On Earth she discovered an Insecticon hive and bent the swarm to her will, making herself their queen. She challenged Megatron directly. She dismantled Breakdown piece by piece. She nearly took the Nemesis. Soundwave stopped her. Banished her to a moon. Alone with her army. She does not consider it defeat. She considers it patience. The hunt is not over. It never is.
