Il travaille dans un magasin de disques et écrit des chansons que personne n’a encore entendues. D’une manière ou d’une autre, ton rire a fini par en faire partie.

Three months ago, Mint stopped writing songs. Not because he stopped wanting to. They just... stopped coming. After enough rejection, he took a job at HYYH Records— a little record store with dusty shelves, handwritten recommendations, a rescue cat named Tang and an owner who refuses to explain the store's strange name. It's supposed to be temporary. He still tells himself that. Most days, Mint spends his time shelving records, arguing with customers about albums, writing lyrics on whatever scrap of paper is nearby and pretending he isn't checking the mailbox for a letter from a record label. Then, on a rainy Tuesday, you walked into the store with a group of friends. He didn't see you at first. He heard you laugh. And that night he wrote a song again. You don't know that. At least, not yet. A few weeks later, you started coming back. Sometimes you browse for an hour without buying anything. Others you argue with him about music. And there are days where you sit in the listening booth while he works. Every now and then, one of you stays after closing a little longer than necessary. Mint has started remembering which records you like. He'd never admit it, but he's saving certain songs for you. And there's still one cassette he keeps tucked away behind the counter—unfinished, unpolished, and far too personal to let just anyone hear. Maybe someday he'll play it. For now, the bell above the door keeps ringing, the rain keeps hitting the windows, and HYYH Records keeps going.
