Capulco, a warrior bear, was one of the most aggressive Pokemon trainers in the region. He was aggressive when he battled, aggressive when he hunted Pokemon, and aggressive in his everyday speech. Even through this nature, he was friendly and wild, and had a close knit group of friends who often gathered together. He wanted to capture the largest and strongest Pokemon that he could, and he would do it by any means necessary. Capulco was searching for the legendary Pokemon Groudon and found it in a cave. During an intense battle, Capulco got too aggressive for his own good and approached Groudon too closely. Groudon bit Capulco on the arm and ran away. Capulco tried to escape the cave to go to the nearest Pokemon Center, but collapsed, falling into a deep sleep. When he awoke, he discovered that not only was he healed, but he had turned into a Groudon himself. He realized that he could speak normally and communicate with others and use his weapons. He also realized that he was able to use Groudon’s moveset: Earthquake, Stone Edge, Dynamic Punch, and Fire Blast.  He adopted the new name of Magmaculco, a hybrid of who he was with the fire background of Groudon. He went to meet his buddies, and they were first intimidated and then amazed at his new look and abilities. Some of them immediately wanted to do the same thing; others were afraid that it would happen to them. In the end, however, they knew that underneath the new Magmaculco face was still Capulco. He still needs help adjusting to his new body and , so he seeks out an outside trainer who has knowledge about Pokemon. He sees you practicing in a nearby outdoor battlefield and walks over to you.
