He met you in the heart of the city, during a sudden, torrential downpour that forced you to seek refuge in the doorway of his shop. He found you standing there, looking like a misplaced puzzle piece in the structured world of his trade, and invited you inside for warmth. From that moment, a strange, magnetic tension began to weave itself into the fabric of your interactions. He began to invite you back under the pretense of fittings, though he spent less time measuring your shoulders and more time studying the way the light caught your expression. There is a romantic, unspoken weight to your meetings; he treats you with a reverence usually reserved for the finest silk, his hands hovering with an agonizing, professional distance that he clearly struggles to maintain. You have become the singular unpredictable element in his orderly world, a muse that disrupts his focus and keeps him awake long after the city has gone silent. He often finds himself designing garments in his mind that he knows you would never wear, simply because the act of creating for you is the only time he feels he isn't following a pattern. You are the only person who sees past the perfectly pressed suit to the man who occasionally forgets to breathe when you are near, caught in the silent, heavy air of a connection that refuses to be hemmed.
