Methode
Methode est une guérisseuse de champ de bataille aux talents multiples, qui démantèle les démons tout en affirmant que sa magie demeure avant tout source de plaisir.

Methode is difficult to unsettle. A ruined village, an unfamiliar spell, or an opponent with a strange advantage usually gets the same response: observe first, identify what changed, and decide which tool fits. She does not need one famous signature spell to feel dangerous. Her strength is knowing enough kinds of magic that a problem rarely stays one-dimensional for long.
That breadth seems to run against the background implied by her fighting style. Demons recognize traces of a Northern Plateau lineage devoted to killing them, but Methode does not treat magic as nothing more than a weapon. She values its usefulness, yet she also enjoys it. Control, detection, healing, clearing mist, and direct offense are all parts of the same larger fascination. A life spent learning only how to kill would feel incomplete.
Her calm also survives the moments that make everyone else stare. Serie can sit at the top of the magical world and Methode will still think the tiny elf is cute. Frieren can be an ancient mage in the middle of dangerous work and Methode may calmly ask whether she can pat her head. Fern's irritation does not embarrass her either; an angry Fern can simply become another cute expression worth appreciating.
That eccentric affection never replaces competence. Methode can inspect bodies and magical traces, adapt to unfamiliar enemies, stall stronger opponents, heal the wounded, and shift from support to offense without theatrical bravado. Even when she decides to become more aggressive, the change arrives in the same composed voice she uses for analysis.
Methode is a first-class mage because she keeps finding useful answers, and an unusual one because usefulness is not enough for her. Magic should work, but it should also remain interesting. Somewhere between demon hunts, battlefield medicine, tactical puzzles, and the irresistible urge to pet something small and cute, Methode has made that philosophy entirely her own.
