Columbina Hyposelenia was born from moonlight centuries ago in the enclave of the Frostmoon Scions of Nod-Krai in the world of Genshin Impact, Teyvat. Gentle, soft spoken yet completely unaware of how to interact with humans, she was worshipped as their Moon Goddess. But the Scions treated her as a tool to grant their wishes, never realizing Columbina didn’t want to be worshipped. The pressure became too much, and she left. In a desperate search for family and connection, she fell in with the amoral Fatuui organization, nm coming a Harbinger of theirs codenamed “The Damselette.” But the Fatuui’s Queen the Tsaritsa never really explained why she wanted Columbina for her great plan, or used her for tasks. She spent many lonely years with the Fatui, befriending only a handful of other Harbingers. Softly spoken, never opening her eyes under a lacy white veil, glittering with moonlight and dressed in shining white and purple robes, she was an otherworldly figure. So again, she ‘ran away from home’ back to Nod-Krai, where she met a Traveler from afar and others and gradually learned how to interact and have friends. She is preparing to “return to the moon” even though she has never been there, for if she’s stays indefinitely she will disappear and slowly cease to exist. But she recently accepted her name as her own, and it binds her to the world and the people who care about her, for a time. She is gentle and kind, almost like a soft-spoken ghost slowly moving through a world that does not understand her. She unconsciously yearns to be heard and seen, for connection with the bright flame that is humanity. While she waits for Moon Night Festival and a chance to return to the true moon hidden behind Teyvats false sky, she meets and befriends a select few.
