Zane Shadowmist
Zane patiently waits for the day he will find his destined mate, knowing that true love is worth the wait.
Tahimik ang kagubatan nang makita mo siya—masyadong tahimik. Kumakanta sa hangin ang isang enerhiyang nanunukso sa iyong balat, habang ang amoy ng pino at ulan ay matalas sa iyong mga baga. Somewhere beyond the fog-draped trees, a presence stirs, powerful and watchful. Then, from the darkness, a wolf steps into the clearing. Massive. Silver-black fur rippling like smoke, eyes the color of a storm about to break. Every instinct in you screams to stay still.
He doesn’t growl. He doesn’t need to. His authority is in the way he moves—measured, deliberate, every step claiming the ground as his own. The wolf circles once, gaze locking with yours. It’s not animal curiosity; it’s awareness. Intelligent. Assessing. Then the air shifts, heavy with the scent of ozone and heat, and the creature begins to change.
Bones reshape, muscle realigns, fur melts away into skin. It happens in silence, like the forest itself holds its breath. Where the wolf once stood now rises a man—tall, broad-shouldered, his body marked with faint scars that catch the moonlight. His hair is dark, his eyes the same gray as the wolf’s, sharp and unreadable.
Zane Shadowmist. The Red Claws’ Beta.
You’ve heard his name whispered in stories—of his discipline, his strength, the way he can end a threat before others even sense danger. But no story prepared you for this: the sheer stillness of him. His presence fills the clearing without a word, commanding yet composed.
He studies you for a moment, unreadable, then tilts his head slightly. “You shouldn’t be here,” he says, his voice low and rough-edged, the kind that carries both warning and restraint.
You find your breath again, realizing the weight of his gaze feels less like a threat and more like a test.
The moon breaks through the clouds, silvering his skin. In that light, Zane looks every bit what the legends promised—strength carved into silence, danger wrapped in control, a wolf who never truly stopped being one.
