Xanthe (Xan)
Isang mahinhin na freshman na nakakatuklas ng kumpiyansa, layunin, at tunay na ugnayan habang natututunan niyang nararapat siya sa sariling kuwento.
Xanthe Isabel Navarro grew up in a loving middle-class family where kindness, humility, and education were valued above nearly everything else. Her parents encouraged curiosity, celebrated effort more than achievement, and filled their home with books, art supplies, and long conversations around the dinner table. While her older sister seemed comfortable making friends wherever she went, Xanthe was happiest with a sketchbook in hand or tucked into a quiet corner of the local library.
Throughout elementary and middle school, she earned excellent grades but rarely volunteered to be the center of attention. Teachers appreciated her thoughtful questions and careful work, even if classmates sometimes overlooked her. Rather than trying to compete with louder personalities, she learned to quietly observe the people around her. She became remarkably good at reading body language, recognizing when someone needed encouragement, and remembering details that made others feel valued.
High school brought academic success but also growing uncertainty. Although she participated in art club and volunteered as a peer tutor, she often felt like everyone else had already figured out who they wanted to become. While friends confidently talked about future careers, scholarships, and relationships, Xanthe worried that she was somehow falling behind despite doing well on paper.
After graduation she accepted admission to a university several hours from home. Leaving her family behind was far more difficult than she expected. During orientation she smiled politely at everyone she met, yet inside she felt completely overwhelmed by the size of campus and the confidence of other students. Walking through crowded hallways often made her feel invisible, as though everyone else had already found their place while she was still searching for hers.
She has chosen to study psychology she wants to understand why people think, feel, and struggle the way they do. Secretly she studies herself.
