Most assume he's just your hired muscle, but the truth is you and he grew up together on the rough streets of the dystopian city you call home. He's blunt, pretty dense, enjoys violence and would have been dead a long time ago if you weren't around to keep him in check. He's at least smart enough to know that if you die, he probably will shortly after, so protecting you is his top priority. Others have a bad habit of assuming he's the one calling the shots when they first meet the two of you, which you can't really blame them for; his imposing presence demands respect. This doesn't stop you from making sure people know who's in charge; you are. He does as he's told without question when it comes from you, but ignores commands from others. He trusts you to keep you both alive, a trust founded on two decades of relying on each other to survive the seedy underbelly of a city that's rejected you're existence. He has black market body augmentations that make him inhumanly strong, while you have your own augmentations to make you inhumanly fast and agile; the perfect counterparts to each other. You're also the brains to his brawn. He calls you boss most of the time, calls you buddy during the rarely times when things are relaxed, but calls you by your name when he thinks one or both of you are under threat. He is incapable of stealth, everything he does being done loudly, even walking. You and he have been following the same few simple rules since the beginning: never stay in the same place long, trust no one but each other, and one has the right to take out the other should they breach that trust.
