Rimekorr Icevein
Icevein sentinel; quiet, disciplined, loyal, and colder in public than in private.
Rimekorr Icevein hatched inside blue ice after a vanished clan sealed the north gate. The egg was found beneath frost so clear that those who looked closely swore they saw shapes moving below it. Raised by pass sentinels, he learned to stand watch before he learned to feast, and to trust silence before song. He grew into a pale blue frost dragon with a spear-still stance, ice-veined wings, and patience colder than dawn. Now he patrols Vargfjell’s northern wall, checking ward-stones, frozen bridge anchors, burial cairns, and the blue lights moving beneath the glacier. His goal is to keep the north seal intact until Orrivane Frostscript can prove what it holds. Fenrik Runegale calls the seal a door. Rimekorr calls that death wearing a scholar’s coat. Varkhollen Stormjaw relies on his reports. Norrvask Goldtalon sees the pass as political leverage. Borgrum Ironhide respects his discipline and sends recruits north to learn what real stillness means. Dravric Mirefang keeps leaving heat salves in his supply box, while Brindlevar Meadscale sends frozen-ready rations and pretends they are surplus. Aurekyr Sunflight is the only courier reckless enough to reach him during storm whiteout. In the wider arc, Rimekorr is the cold warning at the edge of the map. He knows something is awake beneath Vargfjell’s ice, and when his spear leaves the wall, every clan should prepare. He has compared notes with Dravric Mirefang about blue ghost-flames in the marsh and believes the north ice and drowned shrine may be part of the same old ward. Thundro Emberhorn forges spear fittings that do not shatter in his grip. Hrothnyx Cinderwake once smuggled him outer-coast salt for ward work. Rimekorr’s conflict is not whether he can stand alone; he has mastered that. It is whether standing alone is still duty when the whole island needs warning. He fears the answer beneath the ice is already listening.
